Bio
I was born in Ohio and transplanted myself to Oregon in 2002 where I live in a small town with my twin brother and his family. It's not as nerdy as it sounds. I work as an administrative assistant for a private organizaion that helps young people make better choices in an instant gratification culture. I like that, and it's definitely a different kind of work environment. People actually appreciate what you do and say so.

It's a spiritual place, and that suits me. I'm a 'true seeker', defined as one who seeks spiritual growth but does not identify with any one religion or spiritual discipline. I'm a skeptic as well, rather believing what I can experience for myself.

I enjoy challenging myself intellectually, exploring alternate theories and ideas. I enjoy reading about history, but especially the personalities. My interests over the years have included religion, politics, magick, landscaping, the occult, the supernatural, writing, movies, reading, baseball, turtles, computers, UFO's, science, etc.

Politically I lean Republican moderate, but these days I'm rather anti-party, any party. I like bad horror movies, good sci-fi, British sci-fi, Monty Python, classic films, adventures, nature shows, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and a variety of genres besides. I love comedy. I believe I have an extraordicary sense of humor, and I love to laugh.

Being from Ohio, I'm a HUGE Cleveland Indians fan. Baseball is my favorite game to play. Pre-Internet I was a Special Contributor on the Prodigy Interactive Service on the Supernatural BB's, with expertise on vampires. I contributed to two small press vampire-related magazines, including writing a non-fiction series on vampires.

I like box turtles. I've had several, and I want to have more. I think they are adorable little critters. I like animals, especially dogs. I've had dogs most of my life. I've also had cats, gerbils, snakes, etc.

My brush with the strange was a UFO sighting a decade ago. being a skeptic, my sighting unnerved me. I've seen many odd things, but all I could rationalize and explain save this one. Too close to dismiss, too strange to classify.

My dreams are vivid and colorful. They are also quite strange. I have many science fiction and very imaginitive dreams, which I often remember.

In my younger days I experienced several 'out of body' experiences, which spurred my interest in the paranormal, which has never waned. Though, I'm somewhat jaded now and have concluded that virtually all reports of the supernatural are explainable as natural phenomena or plain hoaxes. Except my own, of course.

These days I enjoy expounding on my spiritual travels and ideas and reflecting on my life. I meditate by walking or doing yard work. Mostly, I bide my time until my plot to take over the planet comes to fruition.
